The certificate of recycled mass.

Each RecycledID records the certified mass of recycled material, in tonnes, and its source MassID.

This contract issues RecycledID certificates and makes them available for lookup on the Carrot network.

The methodology applied to verify the material’s recycling.
Origin
The MassID of the batch backing the certificate, with its material, mass and journey.

The MassID records batch mass in kilograms. The RecycledID expresses the certified quantity in tonnes.

Under BOLD Recycling, MassID verification leads to a RecycledID and the corresponding issuance of C-BIOW credits.

Does one certificate equal one credit?

No. A RecycledID records the certified outcome of one MassID. The amount of C-BIOW issued matches that outcome and may include fractions.

Can a RecycledID be revoked?

Yes, if the data underlying certification is invalidated. Revocation is blocked when credits from that certificate have already been sold. Its MassID and other certificates from the batch remain independent of that revocation. The history remains available for inspection.
